This year’s annual conference of the NC Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), which was held in Wilmington, NC, saw a record 298 attendees and nearly 500 overall participants. CAMS Co-Owner and CEO, Mike Stonestreet, has the honor of serving as President of the NC Chapter for 2019 and was given the opportunity to speak at the event.
The continued growth of these annual conferences clearly demonstrates CAI's commitment to its members, all of whom are community association management professionals, and their dedication to the associations they serve.
“I was thrilled to see such a huge turnout for this year’s event – I think it truly speaks to all the hard work our members and volunteers have been putting in this year”, Stonestreet said of the conference.
Events like these allow community managers to network with other industry professionals and access the latest and greatest information regarding HOA management. They can then take what they’ve learned and implement it in managing the associations they serve.
During the conference, community managers also attended several learning sessions, which enabled them to return home armed with the best tools available to keep their HOAs running smoothly and on the cutting edge of association management.
The whole CAMS team was excited to have the conference held in one of the regions they serve this year and is looking forward to being able to attend next year’s event in Durham, NC.
