CAMS Adam Soccorsi Named Professional Community Association Manager

Adam Soccorsi, on-site community manager at Park South Station in Charlotte, North Carolina, has earned the prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM designation through the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Soccorsi joins more than 2,200 managers worldwide who have earned the highest professional recognition in the community association field.

Originally from Michigan, Soccorsi has a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and owned and operated a mobile automobile restoration company until relocating to the Charlotte area in 2008. He joined the CAMS team in 2014 as a portfolio community manager and then transitioned to on-site community manager in 2015. Since becoming an on-site manager, he has excelled in his position, which can be seen from the dozens of five-star Google reviews he has received.

“I am extremely excited to receive my PCAM designation,” said Soccorsi of his achievement. “Completing the work required intense focus, which was made possible through support from my wife and teammates. I am so glad to have the PCAM completed and looking forward to pursuing my LSM (large-scale manager) designation in the future.”

To earn the PCAM credential, managers must have five years of community association management experience and complete more than 100 hours of course work. In addition, credentialed PCAMs must fulfill continuing education and service requirements and adhere to a strict code of ethics.

CAMS senior leadership team is equally excited about Soccorsi’s accomplishment.

“I have worked with Adam for almost seven years, and I’m thrilled he has continued to use his strengths to develop into the manager he is today,” said Ben Rhodes, Senior Vice President of CAMS Western Region. “He is innovative and dedicated to his community, CAMS, and the industry, and the PCAM designation will only continue to help him grow his career.”

CAI is an international organization dedicated to building better communities. CAI and its 60 chapters work on behalf of the professionals and volunteers engaged in the management and governance of homeowner and condominium associations, cooperatives, and other planned communities.
