CAMS’ Charley Truesdale Earns Her CMCA Designation

Community Association Management Services (CAMS), North and South Carolina’s premier community management company, is proud to announce that Charley Truesdale recently earned her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation. Charley has been with CAMS since 2020 and serves as a community manager in its Columbia region.

Before entering the community management industry, Truesdale worked in accounting for 11 years. She has served as an assistant community manager and a community associate while working with CAMS.

"I'm excited to earn my CMCA®,” said Truesdale. "I feel better qualified in my role and look forward to going after my AMS® designation next."

Taylor Hayes, VP of CAMS’ Columbia region, is thrilled to see Truesdale pursuing her education.

“I’m tremendously proud of Charley for taking this step in her career,” said Hayes. “Earning the CMCA® designation shows that she is truly committed to better serving her clients.”

The CMCA® program provides critical knowledge on topics such as governance, fiduciary responsibility, risk management, human resources, volunteerism, and financial planning for those who manage homeowner associations or condominiums. The program also emphasizes current trends in the industry, such as green living initiatives, dispute resolution methods, and technological advances.
